This glass rope seal is designed for the Mendip Stoves Churchill 5 / 6 MK3.1 and the Beltane Chew Ecodesign models manufactured from 2019 onwards.

The glass rope seal provides a heat-resistant seal between the stove glass and the door, helping to ensure the appliance operates safely and efficiently.

Maintenance Recommendation

The glass rope seal should always be replaced whenever the stove glass is removed or replaced. As part of routine servicing, Mendip Stoves recommends replacing the glass rope seal every 2 years to help maintain an effective seal and protect the stove glass from unnecessary stress and potential damage.
