The Lower Glass Clamp Woven Seal is a genuine Mendip Stoves replacement seal, designed to fit between the lower glass clamp and the stove glass.
Manufactured from high-quality woven fibreglass, this heat-resistant seal cushions the glass while allowing for the natural expansion and contraction that occurs during normal stove operation. It helps maintain an even clamping pressure across the glass, reducing the risk of stress damage, air leakage and premature glass failure.
For optimum performance, Mendip Stoves recommends replacing the woven seal whenever the stove glass is removed or as part of routine servicing every two years. Replacing the seal helps maintain an effective airtight seal and protects the glass from excessive clamping forces.
